About Mackenzie Schieck (Owner, Schieck Spaces)

Mackenzie has been in the food and lifestyle industry since 2006, working as a writer, food & prop stylist, and interior decorator. She spent seven years (2006-2013) as an editor at Allrecipes, and has since continued to create editorial content for Allrecipes as a freelancer, as well as for sites like Apartment Therapy, Real Simple, The Kitchn, Simply Recipes, and more.

As a food stylist she does everything from styling and photographing food for articles she writes, to styling food for photo shoots and TV segments on King 5’s New Day Northwest.

A PNW native and resident of Bellingham, Washington, Mackenzie also provides virtual and in-person interior decorating services, as well as in-home meal planning/personal chef services for Bellingham-area residents.
